He seems to have some sort of rivalry going on with The Scarecrow, at least in the first Batman game.Protect and display your LEGO® DC Batman™ Batmobile™ Tumbler: Scarecrow™ Showdown build with our bespoke display case.On the DS version of the game, Moth's mask is more alien-like than moth-like.This seems to be a running gag with him and his main character trait. It is possible he actually believes himself to be a moth, thus being the reason he is sent to Arkham Asylum. Killer Moth is seen attracted to light just like a real moth.He also carries a larger gun, akin to an assault rifle. He wears an all-black outfit, similar to a SWAT operative and a grey, threatening moth-like mask with blue eyes and small, white antennas. In contrast to his first outfit, his alternative has no bright colours. His alternative outfit (appears only on DS) is much more intimidating. Moth wears a moth-styled cowl with antennas on his head that sports him white eyes, purple spandex with an orange moth insignia, orange gloves, orange belt, orange moth (or butterfly) wings and orange pants crossed with light green, almost yellow, patterns. In all other areas, however, Moth mimics the Caped Crusader's appearance, with the cowl, chest insignia, and wings in place of Batman's cape. In great contrast to his "opposite" Batman, Killer Moth's costume is brightly coloured with orange and purple making the most of it. Despite sporting abs, similar to the Yeti and Poison Ivy Goons, he doesn't have the super-strength ability. His only offensive weapon is a regular goon gun. Killer Moth's greatest power is his "flight suit", which allows him to fly short distances by flapping the "wings" on his back. He can be found on the top of the station and must be defeated. He is a minor villain in this game, like all the previous villains in the first game. In LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, Killer Moth escapes from Arkham and proceeds to attack the Gotham Power Plant due to the giant lightbulb it has. Moth is then sent back to Arkham Asylum where he gets a red cell with a lightbulb inside it, where he keeps hitting himself to it. Being cornered and defeated, Moth begs Robin not to spray him as he shows the duo where the Joker is. Moth's love of lights would prove to be his downfall as he is defeated when Robin activates it. Moth runs to an abandoned warehouse with a giant light bulb inside nearby to fight the Caped heroes. While Joker and Harley make for the Gotham Cathedral, Killer Moth gets attracted to the light from the Batwing which Batman arrived in. Joker and Moth rescue Harley Quinn from Commissioner Gordon and the GCPD on the streets of Gotham and Gordon sends a footage of Harley and Joker escaping to Batman, while Moth hits his head in the camera before making an angry face. After Mad Hatter and Crane are taken back to Arkham, Killer Moth is left to assist The Joker. When Joker calls the trio over to explain his wicked plan, Moth approves of it, but once again focuses more on another lamplight, earning a slap from Scarecrow. However, Moth pays a lot more attention to the lamplight besides him than the game, annoying the Scarecrow who frightens him, making Moth drop all of his cards. Killer Moth appears in Lego Batman: The Video Game as a member of the Joker's gang.Īt first, he can be seen playing cards at the Joker's base with Mad Hatter and The Scarecrow.
